Performances will commence at the Theatre Royal in Glasgow, with subsequent visits to Inverness, Edinburgh, and Aberdeen. This time, we will also be co-producing with a third partner, Opera Holland Park, which will present performances as part of its summer season in London.
Trial by Jury was first performed on 25th March 1875, so it is an important anniversary for D’Oyly Carte as we celebrate 150 years.
This will be presented as a double bill with a new commission called A Matter of Misconduct by Emma Jenkins and Toby Hession.
