GILBERT AND SULLIVAN A LA CARTE

…A La Carte is full evening’s entertainment with interval, featuring a musical miscellany of numbers from the Gilbert and Sullivan operas, presented by five D’Oyly Carte singers (Soprano, Mezzo, Tenor, Baritone and Bass). The musical numbers are linked together by use of scripted anecdotal reference, diary entries and contemporary reviews and newspaper features.

The concert has played in various venues up and down the country, from stately homes and hotels, to small and medium sized theatres.

The concert programme can be adapted to meet the needs of venues small and large, and dependent on the type of audience. For example, some hotels have used a cut down version as a pre- or post-dinner entertainment.
