With generous support from The Michael Bishop Foundation, D’Oyly Carte Opera Company will return to production in 2013, in a production of The Pirates of Penzance, a co-production with Scottish Opera.
22nd January, 2001 – D’Oyly Carte are set to return to the Savoy again following their recent successful Mikado season. Following heavy public demand the Company are to revive their production of The Pirates of Penzance which was last seen in London in 1998.
D’Oyly Carte Opera Company has been nominated twice for its productions of HMS Pinafore and The Mikado at the Savoy Theatre in 2000.
